Q: You must be genuinely pleased with how things turned out last season, winning your first Major title at the ANA Inspiration and then being named Rookie of the Year, but could you share with us what it really means to you now after it has all sunk in?
A: Yes. It means a lot to be called a Major champion. I feel like it’s a dream for everyone who plays on the LPGA Tour to win a Major. And for me to accomplish it that quick (in the rookie year) is something incredible. More than that, I’m still striving to get better and to be the best golfer I can be. I will continue to work hard at it.
Q: What is it that you like most about the Honda LPGA Thailand tournament and why?
A: I like the Siam Country Club’s Old Course. I have been going there since I was really young and I know my way around that golf course. It is a top-class course kept in great condition. It’s also a big course and it’s built really well for scoring.
