Panasonic unveils innovative inverter air conditioners

Panasonic Air-Conditioning Malaysia chief operating officer Dai Nishi (left) and APAC marketing centre director Masahiko Miyoshi launched their new inverter air-conditioner series at the event held at Boathouse by The Lake in Ampang Jaya.

Inverter air conditioners are transforming how we experience indoor cooling, bringing unparalleled energy efficiency and comfort to homes.

By adjusting the compressor speed to match cooling needs, they ensure a stable room temperature, reduced energy consumption, and lower electricity bills.

This advanced technology also promotes quieter operation and a longer lifespan for the unit, making it an ideal choice for eco-conscious consumers.

Panasonic launches four new inverter air conditioner series - X-Deluxe Inverter Series, Smart Inverter Series, Standard Inverter Series and Eco Inverter Series.

“The launch is an important move for Panasonic as we aim to resolve society’s issues, helping to create healthy, comfortable lives and societies, and achieve a sustainable world by integrating and further advancing our air quality and air-conditioning technologies,” said Panasonic Air-Conditioning Malaysia chief operating officer Dai Nishi during his welcome speech at the launch event held at Boathouse by The Lake in Ampang Jaya.

“Air conditioners are a necessity, rather than a luxury for Malaysia, and for good reason. Air conditioners provide relief from the heat, making indoor spaces much more comfortable for work, leisure, and rest.”

Dai said that “We are also cognisant of the increasing awareness about the environmental impact of excessive air conditioner usage, with efforts to promote energy-efficient systems. Balancing the need for comfort with sustainability and cost savings is becoming more important in Malaysian society,” he said.

Panasonic also recognises that modern households are prioritising the concerns on indoor air quality, escalating energy and the significance of creating a favourable living environment for families.

“Our new air conditioning series embraces the tagline "Beyond The Cool", which demonstrates our passion in building high-quality air conditioning solutions.

“We go above and beyond conventional cooling, but also keeping sustainability and healthier spaces in mind through innovating new and environmentally friendly technologies to continue elevating our customers’ living or working experience.”

Speaking to The Star later, Dai said that they are introducing 23 models in four inverter categories for the Malaysian market.

“With these new enhanced models, we expect double-digit in our sales this year,” he shared.

He said that the consumers are shifting to using the inverter air-conditioner series to save energy consumption due to increasing costs.

Dai expressed confidence that Malaysians would welcome their new product lineup because of its advanced technology, affordability and high quality.

“For instance, our nanoe X technology continues to improve rapidly while our Eco model encourages consumers to shift easily to the inverter model,” he explained.
