Hilton guests will be able to Netflix and chill like they do at home while staying in a Hilton Connected Room.

The new feature could be of particular interest to business travelers, many of whom may camp out in their room after work for the evening.

Instead of watching their favourite series on a tablet screen or laptop, guests can watch on their in-room TV by logging into their own personalised Netflix account on their Hilton Honors mobile app, or directly on the remote control which features a dedicated "Netflix" button and takes viewers straight to the Netflix login screen.

Hilton has about 1,800 Connected Rooms in the United States, with plans to roll out the technology to tens of thousands of more rooms this year.
