A piece of history and a symbol of what could have been between rival video game giants Nintendo and Sony PlayStation is now on sale, with a US$350,000 (RM1.45mil) price tag.

Put on action by Texas-based Heritage Auctions, the Nintendo PlayStation Super NES CD-ROM Prototype's initial starting price of US$30,000 (RM124,215) has since increased more than 10-fold from competing bids.
