Weight by weight, an 1856 stamp last owned by a US murderer will be the most expensive object in the world if sold for its estimated price of RM33mil.
A rare One-Cent Magenta postage stamp printed in British Guiana in 1856 and most recently owned by the estate of a du Pont chemical company heir convicted of murder is expected to fetch a record price of between US$10mil (RM33mil) and $20mil, Sotheby’s said on Monday.
