Cantonese cuisine

Toh Yuen Chinese Restaurant at Hilton Petaling Jaya showcases a sumptuous a la carte menu of Guangdong cuisine starting tomorrow until July 31, in line with its three-month “Journey through China” culinary promotion. Widely known as Cantonese or Yue cuisine, the famous cuisine highlights well-balanced tastes and is less greasy. Spices are used modestly and the dishes are lightly seasoned to retain natural flavours. Bringing the traditional recipes from China, master chef Lee strives to get the tastes as close to the authentic delicacies as possible with most ingredients sourced locally. Diners will find steamed or stir-fried dishes such as Steamed Barramundi Fish with Black Bean Sauce, Pan Fried Red Snapper with Honey Soy Sauce and Sautéed Sea Cucumber with Fresh Kai Lan. Available daily for lunch and dinner, these Chinese favourites are priced from RM30++ onwards. For reservations, call 03-7955 9122 ext 4073/4 or visit www.ZestPJ.com
