KUCHING: The saying “every dark cloud has a silver lining” do apply to the fire at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) here last Saturday, which burned what was supposed to be its clinical research centre building.
It is hoped that the tragedy, which saw the death of a construction worker, would prompt the Federal Government to address the long-standing shortcomings in the state’s healthcare and medical sector.
