Rare glimpse of six Buddha relics


JOHOR BARU: Wesak Day celebrations here was extra special this year when Buddhist devotees managed to catch a rare glimpse of six Buddha relics specially flown from Sri Lanka.

Thousands of devotees showed up at SJK(C) Foon Yew 1 where the yearly Wesak Day prayers were held, as early as 7am in anticipation of the precious relics that were on display at the school’s multi-purpose hall.
