Keningau cop acquitted of killing a single mother


KOTA KINABALU: A police inspector has been acquitted of killing a single mother in Keningau more than two years ago.

High Court judge Justice Chew Soo Ho said in acquitting Insp Ahmad Rizal Umar, that there was a break in the chain of evidence following a fire which broke out at the Keningau police station evidence room on April 26 last year.
