BEING the only girls at the recent Maker Faire BeRobot Tainan, Taiwan Competition 2014 was daunting for SK Taman Tun Dr Ismail (1) pupils Nur Diyana Amani Khairuddin, Sofiya Suyanto and Alina Shazana Ahmad Shalimin, but that did not deter them from doing their best in the competition.

Nur Diyana teamed up with schoolmate Amirun Zulkifli to form Team Technorobot and the 11-year-olds emerged first runners-up, while Team Pizzabot’s Sofiya and Alina received the consolation prize in the primary school category of the international competition.
