'Taib's son worth between RM976mil and RM1.39bil'


KUALA LUMPUR: A son of Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud, who is implicated in a multi-million ringgit divorce settlement with his former wife, holds assets worth RM976mil to RM1.39bil, a Syariah Court here heard.

Certified accountant Andrew Heng, 39, said he took into consideration two assets owned by Datuk Seri Mahmud Abu Bekir Abdul Taib Mahmud, which were an Audi car and the businessman’s stake in the Titanium Tower property at Brighton Square, Kuching.
