Adenan Satem named as new Sarawak Chief Minister

KUCHING: Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud has announced that his successor is to be Tan Sri Adenan Satem, after he announced that he has handed over his resignation letter dated Feb 28 to Sarawak Yang di-Pertua Negri Tun Abang Muhammad Salahuddin.

Taib said that Adenan has the trust of not only the other candidates for Chief Minister but that of the whole Parti Pesaka Bumiputera  Bersatu.
