Landowner to get summons for illegally demolishing 150-year-old mansion

JOHOR BARU: A summons of up to RM500,000 could be served by the Johor Baru City Council to a Johorean landowner for illegally demolishing a 150-year-old mansion that once belonged to Wong Ah Fook.

The local council's chief Whip Yahya Jaafar said on Sunday that the summons would be issued under its Planning Act to the landowner who is currently residing in Singapore.
