Refugee kids raise awareness on human trafficking


Budding artists: Refugee children getting started on their artwork during the event to highlight the Penang Stop Human Trafficking Campaign at the Bus Depot Art Centre in Jalan Gurdwara.

GEORGE TOWN: Some 30 refugee children from the Rohingya community in Penang showed off their skills in art and craft to the public during a demonstration to highlight the Penang Stop Human Trafficking Campaign.

The children used cotton swabs and colourful marker pens to paint and even made necklaces out of dry pasta noodles.
