KUALA LUMPUR: Despite having their banners and tents removed by Kuala Lumpur City Hall, a gathering known as Occupy UM has kept its protest peaceful against the Universiti Malaya administration for taking action against students who organised a talk by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The group had been camping outside the UM entrance since Wednesday, getting food and drinks from people who came out to support them, said Universiti Malaya Islamic Students Association president Khairol Najib Hashim.
