Retired army personnel Elias Hasan, 65, and his wife Saayah Mat Tahir, 54, were believed to be murdered.
Villagers found them with stab wounds on their bodies at about 7am on Tuesday.
Baling District Police Headquarters, Acting OCPD Deputy Superintendent Police Wari Kiew confirmed that they received information on the discovery at about 7.50am.
