Police threatened to rape me and sell video, says May 1 rally detainee


PETALING JAYA: A female youth detained over the May 1 anti-GST rally claims to have been threatened with rape and public humiliation by a police officer in order to get her to cooperate.

Maisara Amira, who says she was threatened at the Dang Wangi police headquarters, shared her experience at the Persatuan Kesedaran Komuniti Selangor (Empower) office here on Tuesday.
