500 DBKL personnel deployed to assist cops during Bersih 4.0 rally


KUALA LUMPUR: Some 500 Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) personnel will be deployed to control traffic and ensure public safety during the Bersih 4.0 rally, which will clash with the National Day celebration preparations.

Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Mhd Amin Nordin Abd Aziz (pix) said DBKL would cooperate with the police to monitor Bersih 4.0 participants, who are expected to gather as early 2pm on Aug 29 and assemble until midnight.
