4.5km of Bangladesh's Padma Bridge visible as Chinese firm continues construction despite Covid-19


DHAKA: The construction of Bangladesh's largest Padma Bridge is still underway despite the Covid-19 (coronavirus) outbreak in the country, with the 30th span installed on Saturday (May 30).

With the installation of the 150m-long span, 4.5 km of the bridge is now visible, Dewan Md Abdul Kader, manager of Padma Multipurpose Bridge Project from the Bangladeshi government's Bangladesh Bridge Authority told Xinhua on Saturday.
