BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, June 26 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Asean has overcome many challenges through close cooperation while putting people first in the regional perspective, and therefore such cooperation must continue during the Covid-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
This was said by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien (pic), Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
The sultan also added that Asean officials should begin work on the establishment of an Asean travel bubble in order to overcome economic hardship that many countries are facing now due to the pandemic.
