Two killed, two injured in shooting incident in Pattani


PATTANI, July 3 (Bernama): A volunteer and a militant group member were killed, while two others were seriously injured in a shooting incident in the Panare district, Pattani, southern Thailand today.

Pattani police chief Maj Gen Piyawat Chalermsi said in the incident around 2pm (local time), authorities had surrounded a house in Kg Rawo which was believed to be a hiding place for militant group members.
