Philippines to investigate owner of ostriches running in the streets


MANILA, Aug 9 (dpa): The Philippines' environment department will investigate the owner of two ostriches spotted running around a residential subdivision in the capital, an official said Saturday (Aug 8).

One of the two ostriches has died days after videos of them running on a street in the suburb of Quezon City in the Metro Manila region went viral, said Environment Undersecretary Benny Antiporda.
