China’s Zodiac to invest RM1.5 billion in Malaysia to develop 5G chips

KUALA LUMPUR, August 24 - Zodiac (China) Applied Science and Technology Research Centre Ltd (Zodiac) is planning to set up a manufacturing base in Malaysia to develop 5G chips and encapsulation technology.

It is looking at an initial investment of up to RM1.5 billion, according to a company statement.
