Thailand provides fund for production of Covid-19 vaccine

BANGKOK (Xinhua): Thailand is providing some one billion baht (about US$31.77 million) in funding for the production of an anti-coronavirus vaccine, said Deputy Public Health Minister Sathit Pitutecha on Tuesday (Aug 25).

The Cabinet on Tuesday approved the fund for a co-investment project on the anti-coronavirus vaccine production between the Thai government and Oxford University and for a similar project between the Thai government and Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, according to the deputy public health minister.
