Tiny Indian state Mizoram has no Covid-19 fatalities

NEW DELHI (The Straits Times/ANN): At a time when a billowing coronavirus pandemic has saddled India with the world's third-highest death toll, a tiny state in the far eastern corner of the country has staved off Covid-19 fatalities.

Mizoram, with a population of around 1.12 million, has not recorded a single death among more than 1,300 coronavirus infections.
