Over 5,000 Thai labourers in Sweden and Finland to return home this month


BANGKOK (The Nation/ANN): Nearly 5,300 Thai labourers who have been working as berry-pickers in Sweden and Finland will gradually return home between now and Oct 22, Labour Minister Suchart Chomklin said.

“The first group of 498 workers arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport on Oct 1 and will have to stay in either Alternative State Quarantine or Organisation Quarantine for 14 days to prevent the spread of Covid-19, ” he said.
