China's economy set to remain on steady keel: Premier Li


BEIJING (China Daily/ANN): China will maintain the consistency, stability and sustainability of its macro policies and strive to keep its economic performance within a reasonable range, Premier Li Keqiang said on Tuesday (Dec 7).

In talks with International Monetary Fund Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva via video link, Li reiterated the importance of coordinating containment of the Covid-19 pandemic and socioeconomic development, given that the global economy still faces uncertainties.
