Laos: Teachers, students benefit from 37 new secondary schools


VIENTIANE, Jan 4 (The Vientiane Times/ANN):Teachers and students in central and southern areas of Laos now have an improved educational environment following the construction and renovation of 37 secondary schools.

The new facilities have been provided for Khammuan, Savannakhet, Saravan and Champassak provinces, funded by a grant from the Japanese government worth 1,415 million Japanese yen (US$12.46 million) under the Project for Improving Secondary School Environment in the Central and Southern Provinces in Laos.
