Myanmar military arrested 384 people from Feb 1 to Feb 13: AAPP


YANGON, Feb 16 (Eleven Media Group/ANN) - The Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP) said in a statement dated February 13 that the number of people detained by the military reached to 384 from February 1 to Feb 13, where 3 were sentenced to prison terms and 24 were released.

The list included State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi, President Win Myint, Chief Ministers of States and Regions, both placed under house-arrest or detained in placed where military have controlled, those in jail and in prison, according to Aung Myo Kyaw, in-charge of AAPP Yangon office.
