China-Laos film festival held in Lao capital to promote culture exchange


VIENTIANE, March 16 (Xinhua): Organisers of the China-Laos Film Festival have expected to promote culture exchanges between the two countries as the 2021 version of the event are being held in Lao capital Vientiane.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the film festival on Monday (March 16), Director of Department of Cinema Khamphao Vannavong said this is the fourth time that the Department of Cinema collaborated with the Chinese side to host the event, which has become an activity that integrates the friendly relations between the Lao-Chinese people with increasing popularity among Lao people.
