Russia donates Sputnik V Covid-19 doses to Vietnam during state visit


HANOI, March 16 (dpa): Russia has donated 1,000 doses of the Sputnik V Covid-19 vaccine to Vietnam, marking the first time the vaccine has been delivered to the South-East Asian nation, state media said on Tuesday.

Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev arrived in Hanoi on Tuesday for a two-day visit, bringing with him the donated Sputnik V Covid-19 jabs - a gift proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
