Brunei to launch EV pilot project on March 25

BRUNEI, March 19 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, has consented to implement the two-year Electric Vehicle (EV) Pilot Project scheduled to be launched on March 25.

This was said by Minister of Transport and Infocommunications Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Abdul Mutalib bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yusof during the 17th Legislative Council (LegCo) session yesterday in response to a question by LegCo members Yang Berhormat Iswandy bin Ahmad and Yang Berhormat Haji Ramli bin Haji Lahit.
