China’s ‘Sky Eye’ telescope to open to the world from March 31

BEIJING (Global Times): The 500-metre aperture spherical radio telescope (FAST), also known as China's Tianyan or "Sky Eye," will officially open to the world and accept observation applications from scientists around the world on Wednesday (March 31) at midnight.

According to China's National Astronomical Observatories under the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), foreign scientists can submit their applications online, and all foreign applications for observation will be evaluated in a unified manner.
