FRIDAY, March 2 (Global Times): The China Cotton Association has strongly condemned the restrictions launched by some US-led Western countries against the textile industrial chain and related products in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The association welcomes overseas industry organizations, brands and third-party institutes to visit Xinjiang for field studies.

"We will promote environmentally-friendly, high quality and a traceable industry mode of cotton production and promote the image of Chinese cotton and related products," the association said in a statement on its official website on Thursday.
