Brunei student wins international poetry competition


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Jerudong International School (JIS) Year 8 student Dhanushan Chinniah won first prize from over 360 entries in the annual COBIS Poetry Competition in Category B (open for students ages 11 to 14 years) recently.

COBIS is a global organisation of over 450 schools and organisations in 80 countries. Working with Pobble, a company to promote writing skills, the COBIS Poetry Competition was open to COBIS schools around the world with this year’s theme ‘Connections’. - Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network
