Ex-Vietnamese minister sentenced to 11 years in jail for mishandling state assets

HANOI, April 30 (Xinhua): Vu Huy Hoang, a former Vietnamese minister of industry and trade, was sentenced to 11 years in prison on Thursday (April 30) for mishandling of state assets, which violated related regulations and caused losses to the country.

The Hanoi People's Court has found Hoang guilty of "violating regulations on the management and use of state assets, causing loss and waste," the Vietnam News Agency reported.
