Five more infections raise Laos' Covid total to 1,883


VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN): The National Taskforce for Covid-19 Prevention and Control on Wednesday (May 26) said senior officials in villages and districts must regulate people’s movements and self-isolation to ensure the virus is contained.

The taskforce also stressed the importance of tracing the contacts of people with the virus, educating local communities about the prevention of Covid-19, and reporting suspected cases to health authorities.
