Sri Lanka to sue Singapore shipping company for marine pollution

BANGALORE (The Straits Times/ANN): The Sri Lankan authorities are pursuing charges against the Singapore-based shipping company whose container vessel caught fire near Colombo port on May 21.

With the blaze finally under control after 12 days, the authorities said they were turning their attention to probing the cause of the fire and placing accountability for it.
