VIENTIANE, July (Vientiane Times/ANN): Police and soldiers in Oudomxay province recently uncovered a drug production base in Xay district, arresting eight people and seizing over 1, 000kg of amphetamine and crystal methamphetamine found in various locations.
The drug control and supervision unit in Oudomxay province reported that police partnered with soldiers and local authorities to raid eight houses in Xay district after receiving a tip-off about the production of drugs.
