Brunei and China celebrate long history of friendship

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): “China and Brunei enjoy a long history of friendship. The traditional friendship between China and Brunei has withstood the test of time and grown even more vigorous. A friend in need is a friend indeed,” said the People’s Republic of China Defence Attaché in Brunei Darussalam Senior Colonel Li Jianzhong.

He said this during a dinner reception held to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (CPLA) at The Rizqun International Hotel, Gadong on Tuesday (July 27).
