Thai police arrest another 17 protesters, including two minors


The Metropolitan Police Bureau said as protesters were dispersing from Victory Monument, they lobbed stones and other objects at the windows of 12 traffic-control booths. - The Nation

BANGKOK (The Nation/ANN): Bangkok police arrested 17 protesters, including two women, on Wednesday (Aug 11) night for holding a protest at Victory Monument.

Two of the detainees are minors, police said on Thursday.
