Thailand records 18,501 Covid-19 cases and 229 deaths


BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): Ministry of Public Health reported on Thursday (Aug 26) morning that in the past 24 hours there are 18,501 new patients who tested positive for Covid-19, 139 of whom have been found in prisons.

Death toll increased by 229, while 20,606 patients were cured and allowed to leave hospitals.
