Nurses win top global honour

BEIJING: Three Chinese nurses have been awarded the Florence Nightingale Medal this year, the highest distinction in the field of nursing, all fought on the front lines against Covid-19, the Red Cross Society of China said.

Vice-President Wang Qishan, who is also honorary chairman of the society, awarded the medals to the three nurses at the Great Hall of the People on Thursday.
