Thailand: No clear explanation on why Japanese expats warned of terrorism

BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): The Foreign Ministry said it has received a vague response to its query into why Japan has sent an email warning to its citizens living in Thailand of terrorist attacks in South-East Asia.

Ministry spokesperson Tanee Sangrat (pic) said on Monday (Sept 13) that the authorities asked the Japanese embassy for an explanation, but the embassy only said a similar email had been sent to Japanese expats living in Myanmar, Singapore and Malaysia.
