Cambodia's famous Water Festival cancelled amid prolonged pandemic and cases still high in country

PHNOM PENH, Oct 12 (Phnom Penh Post/ANN): Cambodia's Minister of Interior Sar Kheng said this year’s Water Festival, which falls on Nov 18-20, will not occur due to the prolonged Covid-19 pandemic.

The Ministry of Health on Monday (Oct 12) reported 267 new Covid-19 cases, 19 of which were imported. It noted that all the cases were confirmed by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests.
