Top 10 automobile groups to be part of China expo

BEJING (China Daily/Asia News Network): The fourth China International Import Expo, or CIIE, slated to be held from Nov 5 to 10 in Shanghai, will attract the top 10 automobile manufacturers around the world for the first time to display the latest developments and future of the world's automotive industry.

The automakers — Toyota, Volkswagen, Daimler, Ford, Honda, General Motors, BMW, Hyundai, Nissan, and Kia — will showcase their newest products, technologies and solutions at this year's expo, said Tong Minqi, exhibition director of the automobile exhibition area, during an introductory session on Thursday (Oct), China News Service reported.
