Cambodia' PM urges parents to get kids vaccinated, get booster shots for themselves as daily cases go below 50


The Ministry of Health reported that as of November 17 88.5 per cent of Cambodia’s population of 16 million are vaccinated including 98.55 per cent of those in the 12-17 age group, virtually all of the children in the 6-11 age group and 80.89 per cent of Cambodia’s five-year-olds are vaccinated. - Phnom Penh P0st/ANN

PHNOM PENH, Nov 20 (Phnom Penh Post/ANN): Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen called on all unvaccinated people to get vaccinated – including booster shots. Cambodia has vaccinated over 88 per cent of its population of 16 million people against Covid-19.

The request was made at the ceremonial handover of two million doses of Covid-19 vaccines at the Phnom Penh International Airport attended by Hun Sen and Chinese ambassador to Cambodia Wang Wentian on November 17.
