Thailand confirmed three earlier imported cases of Omicron on Thursday (Dec 9)


BANGKOK, Dec 9 (Bernama): Thailand has confirmed three imported Covid-19 cases of the Omicron variant and has detected another potential case for the virus - a Thai man returning from Congo, director-general of Medical Science Department, Dr Supakit Sirilak said.

He said the first was a 35-year-old American arrived from Spain and the second and third cases were two Thai women aged 36 and 46, who returned from Lagos, Nigeria with all three found preliminary positive for the Omicron variant.
