Police watchdog chair Priscilla Wong to lead University of Hong Kong’s governing council


Priscilla Wong Pui-sze, a barrister who chairs the city’s police watchdog, has been made the new head of the University of Hong Kong’s (HKU) governing council.

Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, in her capacity as HKU chancellor, has appointed Wong to lead the council for a term of three years, effective January 1. Wong has been a council member since 2017.
