Laos and Vietnam pledge to strengthen cooperation

VIENTIANE, Dec 31 (Vientiane Times/ANN): Laos and Vietnam have affirmed their shared intention to continue to work closely to strengthen cooperation mechanisms between their two Ministries of Foreign Affairs.

Lao Minister of Foreign Affairs Saleumxay Kommasith led a delegation on a visit to his Vietnamese counterpart, Bui Thanh Son, and co-chaired the 8th Vietnam-Laos political consultation meeting held in Hanoi from December 27-29.
